Salmon Burgers!

It’s the season of Barbeque and all I want is a burger, like every day. So on Sunday, the Rookie Party Household decided to jazz up the common American burger, thus the Salmon Burger was created.

A super easy recipe, and not expensive at all! I used canned salmon, which I was hesitant because when I think canned anything (especially fish) I get a weird feeling in my stomach. But you would be surprised with some of the salmon options out there! Really classy!
We added a sour cream-dill sauce on the burgers as well. It resembles a Tzatziki sauce, and it’s delicious!

#rookietip: sour cream-dill sauce is great for dipping sweet potato fries!


  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbs milk
  • 1 can salmon. Drained, and bones removed
  • 2 medium green onions
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ salt
  • 1 tbs veggie oil

Sour Cream-Dill Sauce

  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 3 tbs mayo (or salad dressing(
  • ¾ tsp dill
  • ¾ tsp mint

#rookietip: I used more dill and mint than the recipe said.


  1. Mix everything in a bowl (except oil).
  2. Put oil in a frying pan, and then cook patties!
  3. Enjoy!!
