Now that Halloween is over, I know that the second I go into Target it is going to be all Christmas stuff and I really don’t think I am ready for that. BUT like every person who has been living on this earth, my weekly unnecessary trip to Target is quickly approaching and therefore, I need to accept this. I will try as hard as I can before I begin to decorate my apartment and blast the She& Him Holiday CD, so until then I must focus on Thanksgiving. By focusing on Thanksgiving, I mean playing around and taste testing different recipes. So to kick off this holiday season, I tried this Apple Pie Wrap recipe. It came out great and each pie made for the perfect amount of sweet and savory.
- 1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
- 1-2 sliced Red Apples
- Sugar & Brown sugar for seasoning
- Sharp Cheddar Cheese slices
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and spray pan.
Roll out each triangle from the Crescent Rolls
Sprinkle sugar and brown sugar on the crescent roll, and then place a few pieces of the cheddar cheese. After the cheese you want to place 3-4 pieces of apple.
Roll up the crescent roll, cheese, and apples.
Once you have rolled up all the rolls, place in the oven. Make sure to read the instructions for the crescent rolls to know how long to bake for.
